Xiamen Enterprises (Europe) Center Successfully Opened on May 17th 2011
Under the Sponsorship of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, Xiamen Companies have set up their exhibition and marketing centre in Europe on May 17th 2011.
This centre is based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, under the management of Chinamex Holdings (Netherlands) B.V., which offers its broad business networks and good government relationships in Europe to help Xiamen enterprises with entering European markets, and creating business chances for both sides, not only for trading business, but also for technical and financial cooperation.
A Delegation headed by Mr. Xiong Yanliang, the Director of Xiamen Municipal Bureau of Commerce, and consisting of 17 people and 10 Xiamen companies, covering Optoelectronics Industry, Heavy Machinery Industry and trade, flew from Xiamen to Amsterdam, together with over 80 guests from over 40 Dutch companies joined the Opening Ceremony. Mr. Xiong, head of the Delegates, gave energetic introductory speech about Xiamen City after the Opening Ceremony. Director of Ministry of Economic Affairs of Haarlemmermeer, Mr. Mustafa introduced the Netherlands and its business environment. Experts from NCH also vividly and shortly explained to Xiamen Entrepreneurs on how to do business with Dutch people as a warm up for their match meetings with local companies afterwards. The meeting also celebrated the newly opened direct airline of KLM between Amsterdam and Xiamen, which will enhance the business exchanges between the two sides. The speeches and match meetings are greatly welcomed by the participants. Both local companies and Xiamen corporations are very active, which keeps the match meeting lasted over 3 hours. Both Xiamen companies and European counterparts expressed their content with the match meeting results. Xiamen Delegation also paid a visit to City of Zoetermeer, Sister City of Xiamen, and was warmly welcomed by Mr.Van Domburg, Vice Mayor of Zoetermeer, and local businessmen.
